As a Sanitation Worker, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in The Villages, FL, you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the city sanitation department. You'll collect trash and garbage from city residents and commercial establishments onto a collection vehicle using discretion on an assigned shift. You'll work on an assigned route as a member of a collection crew to pick up garbage and trash; clean areas of collection; clean trucks and equipment; assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) daily; and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.  Ideally, You'll Have: * Basic knowledge in sanitation procedures and maintenance of equipment * Safe work practices Working Conditions: Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
