Job Information

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will manage daily customer order shipments, verification and receiving processes, and other transactional activities as part of the shipping and logistics team.

Role & Responsibility

Shipping transactions by the following established guidelines:

• Prepare the daily pick and ship list via the current computer software
• Run Shipping tags and gather info on an Excel Spreadsheet.
• Stage material for live loads and tag
• Live load LTL carriers
• Load dropped trailers and tag product
• Bill product via current software
• Verify all orders are correctly assigned and packages for shipment
• UPS orders are billed through the UPS system
• Orders are then bill via our software and the tracking is put in the order
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to receiving and verifying product, kitting paint load, unload, forklift, blow off, and assembly
• We have a team environment and we help where the need is if we have the time.
• Meeting or exceeding all daily, monthly and yearly corporate goals

Job Requirement

• Forklift Experience
• Lifting, twisting and turning
• Working under a deadline
• Safety and 5S skills
• Proficient with computers, internet, and Oracle
• Experience in transportation & logistics
• Excellence in accuracy, data analysis, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Exhibit integrity representing Doosan when dealing with customers & forwarders
• Professional and confidential information handling
• Team oriented
• Flexible to change
• Difficulties & area of focus when carrying out job - The Shipping and receiving clerks should excel in resolving issues.
• Critical Thinking using quantitative analysis will be needed for these positions to resolve bottlenecks in regards to material flow and inventory data problems.
